Sheridan College 2023

From a young age, I knew I wanted to work in Veterinary Medicine as I have always had a deep love for animals and science. In 2022, I lost my childhood dog to heart failure, a moment that further shaped my decision to dedicate my career to supporting pets in need and the families who love them.

I first joined Avonlea and Hollybank in 2020 as a high school student and have grown with the team while pursuing my education. I graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Sheridan College in May 2023 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) the same year.

What I value most about this profession is being able to work as a team and help pets feel as safe and comfortable as possible. I feel fortunate to be part of such a supportive and dedicated team and to be able to do what I love every day.

Outside the clinic, I enjoy playing volleyball, attending baseball games and concerts, binging TV series, and spending time with family, friends, and of course my own dog Winnie; who is a proud blood donor also helping pets in need.
