Ontario Veterinary College 2025
In high school, I joined the team at Avonlea Animal Hospital, where I was welcomed into a community of pets, clients, and veterinary professionals who nurtured my growing passion for veterinary medicine. That early foundation continued to guide me through my years at Avonlea and Hollybank during both my undergraduate and veterinary studies. While at university, I raised service dogs—an experience that taught me the true meaning of partnership, understanding, and trust between people and animals. I also took my passion abroad, volunteering in veterinary outreach initiatives across Africa, Central America, and North America. These experiences strengthened my dedication to animal care and ultimately led me to achieve my dream of becoming a veterinarian. Returning to Avonlea and Hollybank after graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College feels like a full-circle moment.
What I find most rewarding in veterinary medicine is building lasting relationships with pets and their families and supporting the human–animal bond that brings so much comfort, joy, and companionship.
I live in Guelph with my fiancé and our two dogs, Deena and Poppy, who fill our lives with plenty of joy and adventure. Outside the clinic, you’ll often find me hiking, cooking, baking, or curled up with a good romance novel. I feel truly honored to be trusted with the care of your pets and to be part of their journey—just as animals have always been a part of mine.
