Dr. Sydney Nicholls

I am excited to join the team at Avonlea and Hollybank Animal Hospitals and continue my career alongside like-minded veterinary professionals. I graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College, and my journey in veterinary medicine began more than eight years ago. Throughout this time, I have had the opportunity to work in veterinary clinics alongside many experienced veterinarians, gaining valuable hands-on experience and developing a strong foundation in small animal medicine. Becoming a veterinarian has been a lifelong goal, and I feel incredibly fortunate to spend each day caring for pets and supporting the people who love them.

I enjoy all aspects of general practice and am passionate about building lasting relationships with my clients and patients. I look forward to working collaboratively with families to provide compassionate, individualized care and helping them make informed decisions that support their pets’ health, happiness, and overall well-being.

When I’m not at the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my two cats, Kingston and Freyja, staying active, exploring local coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends.
