My love for animals began at the age of three, when my mom brought home our first dog, Princess—a miniature poodle. As soon as I was old enough, I proudly took on the responsibility of feeding and caring for her. Even then, I knew I wanted a career that involved helping animals.
In high school, I participated in a co-op program with a wonderful veterinarian in Brampton. That experience helped me realize that while I didn’t want to become a veterinarian myself, I did want to work in a field where I could support both animals and their owners.
I went on to spend 16 years working in busy emergency veterinary clinics, where I gained extensive hands-on experience and developed a deep understanding of the needs of pets and their families during critical times. After that, I spent three years in the pet insurance industry. While it was a valuable experience, I ultimately realized that my true passion lies in the clinic setting—directly supporting pets and their families and helping ensure they receive the best care possible.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, our two kids, and our dog, Riley. I’m also a dedicated Toronto Blue Jays fan and try to catch as many games as I can—whether at the stadium or cheering from home.
