Animals have always been more than companions to me—they have been family, teachers, and a constant source of joy. My dog, Maverick, is not only my best friend but also the reason I discovered my passion for veterinary medicine. Through him, I came to understand the deep bond people share with their pets and the trust they place in those who care for them.
That understanding has guided me throughout my journey, from rescuing abandoned bunnies and fostering stray cats to working as a veterinary assistant while completing my degree in Biological Science at the University of Guelph. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care, and I am now preparing to apply to veterinary school to further that calling.
Outside of my studies and work, I enjoy spending time with Maverick, playing tennis with friends, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
